Bump Date! Weeks 8-11

How Far Along? 8 weeks

Size of Baby: A raspberry!

Gender: Basically my whole fam at this point is thinking BOY!

Weight Gain: None... not sure if it's my imagination but my pants feel like they're getting a lil tight!

Maternity Clothes: Not yet

Nursery: I think about color....

Movement: Nope

Symptoms: Lower back pain, occasional nausea, still tired, and sore boobs. All the fun stuff!

Sleep: Still sleeping well! Probably because I am oh so tired when I go to bed!

Cravings: I'm still craving cold stuff.

What I Miss: I'm going to miss having a margarita on cinco de mayo tonight!

Best Moment This Week: We had a great time at our 2nd Annual Kentucky Derby Party and getting to show our family members our new house!

Looking Forward To: My first doctor's appointment on Wednesday. I am so excited and nervous to find out how my little raspberry is doing in there and I think that will all just make it feel a little more real! Also, my birthday 31st birthday on May 9th!

How Far Along? 9 weeks

Size of Baby: A green olive... is it just me or does that seem smaller than a raspberry?? I guess not.

Gender: I'm really not sure!

Weight Gain: I think I am officially  down 1 lb from my pre-pregnancy weight. Probably from the waffle dinners and constant nausea.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet

Nursery: Haven't started!

Movement: Nooooo

Symptoms: More nausea than in previous weeks. A trip to the grocery store almost sent me over the edge this week.....too many smells! I was dry heaving (so attractive) throughout the store but I didn't throw up!

Sleep: Still sleeping well... an averaging a 9:30-9:45 bedtime, but it makes getting through the work day easier so I'll do it!

Cravings: Ice water!!

What I Miss: Nothing really at this point!

Best Moment This Week: I had my first prenatal appointment! They didn't do much other than a urine sample and a blood test. I also had to take an early glucose test. The drink wasn't too terrible, but I almost passed out when they were taking my blood. I have no idea why! Thankfully I passed the test and don't have to take the 3 hr one right now which is great because I probably would officially pass out after 3 hrs of blood tests, an empty stomach, and a gross drink!

Looking Forward To: Summer vacation... the school year is winding down but the last few weeks are always so busy! Also, our first ultrasound so I can see how my little olive is doing!

How Far Along? 10 weeks

Size of Baby: A prune.

Gender: Most people I come across are still thinking boy! I think so too.

Weight Gain: -.5 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight

Maternity Clothes: Not yet

Nursery: Hmmm

Movement: Not yet.

Symptoms: Nausea, but not as constant!! Yuck! Still going to bed early and have sore boobs.

Sleep: Still sleeping well... but going to bed super early.

Cravings: I've been all about the watermelon and fruits this week!

What I Miss: Not feeling nauseous!

Best Moment This Week: Not really pregnancy related but the warmer weather!

Looking Forward To: Memorial Day aka 3 Day Weekend!!

How Far Along? 11 weeks
One of my cousins and I are both pregnant which is fun! I am so excited that our kids will only be about six months apart!

Size of Baby: A lime!

Gender: Most people I talk to think it is a boy! It's almost weird how many people say it!

Weight Gain: Back at my pre-pregnancy weight.

Maternity Clothes: No... but I had to do the hair elastic trick on my skinny jeans this weekend, not too comfortable!

Nursery: Not much planning yet, but it is all cleaned out!

Movement: Nothing yet!

Symptoms: The pukes... not fun at all. I have actually thrown up 3 times and other times I just cough/gag out of nowhere. On the plus side I seem to be a bit less tired, though!

Sleep: Getting up to pee 2-3 times a night, but sleeping well overall.

Cravings: I was craving fruit, which it a good craving to have in my book, but I had a bagel at a new coffee shop down the street and it was AMAZING... which is sort of terrible news! Haha!

What I Miss: I missed having a cocktail just a teensy bit at my family Memorial Day cookout this weekend, but it's all good!

Best Moment This Week: Feeling like I have a little more energy and feeling less all the time nausea, although this was the first week I threw up. Weird.

Looking Forward To: Same as last week...summer vacation!!!
