2012: Highlight Reel!

Some highlights of 2012!

I started the year out with a polar bear plunge and jumped into the Atlantic on New Year's Day. Crazy, yes... but it actually felt kinda good and exhilarating. I'm nuts, I know. On New Year's Day in 2006, my Grampy passed away and my family always gets together for a memorial and throws flowers out to sea to him. Last year we just decided to take a little swim along with the flowers. I am pretty sure my Grampy must have been in heaven saying we were all crazy. Do you like my outfit? Hot, I know.

In February we sent out our Save the Dates, picked out bridesmaid dresses, and went on a Rhode Island adventure.

In March, we celebrated our EIGHT year anniversary, my Dad's retirement, and got to spend St. Patrick's Day in Sarasota for my BFF's wedding!

In April, I got accepted into the program I applied for and made the decision to go back to school in September. It was NOT an easy decision to leave the safety net of my job but I am so glad I did! I think I made the right choice. Also, my then 16 yr old niece came to visit from Michigan for the week all by herself for the first time! And I ordered my wedding invitations!

I celebrated my birthday,  amped up the wedding planning, and we booked our honeymoon. Wedding shoes and dancing shoes were big decisions in May!

I had my last day at my former job, my lovely maids-of-honor, bridesmaids, and mom threw me a bridal shower. It was so much fun and they did SUCH a good job, and I did a lot of wedding crafting!

I blogged only ONCE in July.... I can assure you the rest of the month was filled with planning, planning, planning, beach, beach, beach, and work, work, work!

The wedding festivities began! I have yet to even blog about my wedding in its entirety, but will soon! I got to marry the love of my life. The wedding was magical, and I really wish I could do it all over again.... but my wedding planner told me I get to be a bride all year long until August 11, 2013! ;) In all seriousness though, it has been amazing to be married to my very best friend

I got depressed that the wedding/honeymoon were over. We had our annual family clambake complete with Olympics. We went apple picking and did other fun fall activities!

It was back to school for me. I must admit it was super scary at first, but my class has only 10 kids in it and we are close.... so the long, crazy days are fun!

I finally had some time to blog about my honeymoon (although I have yet to find the time to finish!). I still DO NOT have access to all my wedding photos which is really irritating me since my wedding was sixth months ago!!

I celebrated a great Christmas with those I love most.... pajama party style, which is our tradition!!

All in all a pretty great year. I can't wait to see what 2013 brings!
