Dress 101

So guess what I did today.... I put a deposit on my wedding dress!!!!! :) Yay!!

(wish I could show you, but just pretend this is me!)

And I am trying not to have buyer's remorse....

I am EXTREMELY bad at making decisions. The deal was that I had narrowed it down to two choices.

1. The first was was more than my budget and a little more plain than I had envisioned, but it looked amazing on me. It just hugged in the right places and made me look curvy in a good way, if you know what I mean! Haha.

2. Dress two was more of what I envisioned myself to wear at my wedding. It had a little more detail and a little more ruffle than the first one. It was also cheaper and it was within what I decided my "budget" to be.  Everyone told me that it looked good on me, and I liked it too, but it didn't make my figure look as amazing in my opinion, and it also needs some alterations which made it hard to tell what it would look like completely.

I decided to put a deposit down on number 2, and then I made the big mistake of posting pics of the faves on message boards.... and EVERYONE said that loved number 1, which is sucky! I know I really have to go with MY GUT not everyone else, but that is so hard!

I just hope I am not one of those crazy brides that regrets there choice when my dress comes in in three months and doesn't like it....but I am one of those people who ALWAYS second guesses myself and ends up liking what I chose in the first place! Ughhhh.

I thought this was supposed to be a joyous and fun wedding decision.

  1. That's great that you were able to make a decision! I bet it looks fantastic and you won't second guess yourself at all!

  2. I am so so excited to see your dress!! I'm sure you will love it--and I know your fiance will be so so excited to see you walking down the aisle towards him on the big day! :)

  3. I am so excited for you finding your dress. Don't second guess yourself.
