A slight rant....Toy's R Us you stress me out!

Last week, I ordered two Barbies for my twin nieces from Toy's R Us and chose the "pick up in store" option. A few days later, it said that my order was ready for pick up. I went to Toy's R Us....waited in what turned out to be the wrong line for a loooong time, was finally told what was the right line, waited in a long line again, finally got waited on, then waited an additional 10 minutes, and then got ONE of the barbies I ordered! Apparently the second one I ordered was no longer available for in store pickup. I looked around the store and indeed they did not have it. Ummm... okayyyyy.

I went home and on Monday decided to order the missing Barbie online to be shipped to me. I also ordered two lego toys for a Toys for Tots drive and got free shipping. On Tuesday it said that the Legos had shipped out. I got one of them yesterday and another today. I checked my email Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and today and still no word on the barbie. The barbie still hasn't even left the warehouse!!!

AND SINCE MY NIECES LIVE IN MICHIGAN, THAT IS THE THING I NEED THE MOST! I NEED TO SEND THEIR PACKAGE OUT THIS WEEKEND. UGHHH.

I don't know what to do... other than the fact that I might just have to go to a store and get a third barbie so I can send out my package and then return the one to Toy's R Us once I finally get it?? I guess so! Even though the barbie I wanted was "exclusive" to Toy's R Us. Of course.

But why do things always work out like that??? It is so frustrating!

  1. i had a gift to be mailed to a friend. i put their address on the form. i even had an email confirmation that it would go to them. and it came to me. so i had to pay again to ship it from my house. i feel ya. i hope everyone gets their stuff.

  3. Oh that really sucks. They should have told you the first one you chose was not available when you placed the order.

  4. Girl, I totally feel you! Best Buy and I had it out this year! I had a supervisor tell me I was "Sh*t out of luck" when I asked him on the phone if my package was ever going to ship. Needless to say I called corporate and they figured it all out. Maybe you can try that with them?
