I don't know if I can say 2010 was a good year, but I can't say it was too bad either. It, like most years, had its ups and downs.... which are all part of life. Hard times make you stronger and good times are precious.
In January, we had a stormy New Year's Eve. Had lots of snow. Hibernated inside because it was COLD!
In February, it was still cold. I made lots of crafts. We made plans to spend some of the summer in Costa Rica. We watched a lot of the Winter Olympics.
In March, my mom had hip surgery and my dad was in the hospital for 10 days with pancreatitis. At. the. same. time. It was a tough time but they are both recovered and doing great now. I am glad I was around to help them as much as I could! Also, I had my first ever "Wind Day" off of work. We went skiing and drank green beer on St. Patrick's Day.
In April, the weather started to get nicer! I began to prepare to open my etsy shop.
In May, we did lots of trip planning. We went to the beach for the first trip of the year!
In June, I completed my first 5k! My uncle's band played a reunion cruise! We had a hello summer barbecue. Boyfriend stopped working for the big brown company.
In July, my summer of vacationing began. Boyfriend I spent 1 week at Lake George for a family reunion. Then spent three amazing weeks swimming, hiking, surfing, ziplining, eating, and exploring our way through Costa Rica.
In August, we visited my bro and his family in Michigan. We enjoyed our last few weeks of summer vacation. Boyfriend began a new job.
In September, I went back to work. We went to the Life is Good music festival. We made a few last visits to the beach.
In October, we went to Salem with friends. We went on a historic Boston Bar Crawl. We hosted our annual Halloween party.
In November, my bro and niece visited for Thanksgiving. We went to the Boston ski and snowboard show and met Hannah Kearney.
In December, we found a new apartment. Packed, packed, packed. Had a very busy Christmas and then moved to our new place!
And that's that!
